The newly turned two-year old, Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport takes pride in being awarded Safehotels Premium Certification. This certification recognizes the hotel’s high international standard of safety.

The management together with all the staff has, since opening in November 2012, worked actively to make the hotel a safe facility for our guests and staff. The work that has led to the certification has entailed an extensive assessment of the property involving an evaluation of 220 safety points. Ongoing visits by Safehotels - both planned and spontaneous – will ensure that we maintain a high safety standard throughout the organization.

For us, our work with safety is extremely important and something we work hard for. We prioritize this for both our guests as well as for our staff to ensure that they feel safe with us, says Henrik Berghult, CEO of Clarion Hotel Arlanda Airport. We host not only Swedish visitors but even many foreign visitors and the security aspect is becoming increasingly important for them in their choice of choosing a hotel/venue. Now we are certified but not done. Our work to maintain a high safety standard is ongoing and ever evolving, adds Henrik.

Safehotels Premium Level Certificate is awarded to the large conference and business travel hotels with a high international standard of safety. Having received the Premium certification indicates that the hotel has invested in advanced safety equipment that deserves a higher level of certification than Safehotels Standard certificate Level. The hotel has also demonstrated a very high preparedness when it comes to the handling of VIP and conference security. Safehotels certifications are developed by experts in the safety, hotel and conference industries, as well as by its customers.
