THE GLOBAL HOTEL SECURITY STANDARD©
Safehotels has created, in cooperation with Pinkerton Consulting & Investigation and experienced people from the travel trade,"The Global Hotel Security Standard"©, to meet the need for measuring hotel and conference security and matching the business travellers demand for it. Safehotels makes this matching extremely easy and cost efficient, and speeds up the communication process between the parties; the hotel and/or conference venue and the buyer of hotel nights.

WORK WITH THE VENUES 
The venues are audited individually. If the establishment meets the demands asked for in the Global Hotel Security Standard©, it will become a part of the Safehotels network, stating that the venue has a well managed security system. The standard sets a high security level which allows for local solutions. The Global Hotel Security Standard© does not impose an exact way on how to solve safety and security issues, but do measure the quality of the solutions.

THE VENUES GUARANTEE GOOD SECURITY MANAGEMENT
Being a member of Safehotels Alliance AB gives no guarantees that an accident cannot happen, however, the risk of an unfortunate event have been greatly reduced by the venue´s active participation in the Safehotels programme.
